Gerry O'Brien - The Author

Gerry O’Brien is a writer, photographer, and graphic designer who has worked as a political consultant for over 25 years. He has created campaign advertising in hundreds of races from City Council to the Presidency.

In the 1980s, he served as NYC chapter president of the L5 Society, an early pro-space organization. During his years in Washington, he was Deputy Creative Director of DC’s largest direct mail firm.

In 1994, he pioneered the use of computer morphing in elections, helping to win a congressional seat that had not changed party hands since the 1860s.

Today his observations on campaigns and elections appear often on television and newspapers in New York City, where he works for candidates in both parties.

He and his wife live in Park Slope, Brooklyn. 1901 is his first novel.
